Starting with Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and for every hurricane affecting South Florida since, Consul-Tech has been involved in all aspects of emergency recovery efforts. In 2005, Consul-Tech was the recipient of the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers prestigious Excellence in Project Management award in recognition of our management of recovery efforts after four hurricanes devastated Florida.

As a direct result of our past experiences and on the basis of our prior performances, Consul-Tech has developed standardized procedures, improved communication technologies and protocols, and established relationships with different agencies and contractors in order to facilitate the response in the presence of difficult circumstances, and to serve the county, the state and the residents in the event of such emergencies.
