ROADWAY DESIGN Consul-Tech provides full-service expertise for all types of roadway projects including urban, regional and national highway systems; toll facilities; high-occupancy vehicle systems; access control and management systems; capacity improvement schemes; urban and rural interchanges; and highway structures. Consul-Tech has prepared hundreds of roadway construction plans over the past 25 years for various clients and agencies throughout Florida. Our past experience includes highway services for the management and preparation of construction plans for sidewalks, bike paths, intersection improvements, concrete pavement rehabilitation, traffic control plans, construction cost estimation, resurfacing and safety enhancements, arterial widening and reconstruction, and interstate improvements including multi-level interchange designs. COMPLEX INTERCHANGE DESIGN Consul-Tech has continued to be at the forefront in providing complex interchange design solutions to our clients. SIGNING & PAVEMENT MARKINGS Consul-Tech has prepared hundreds of signal, signing and marking and lighting plans for various government entities throughout Florida. All traffic plans are designed to closely adhere to the Florida Department of Transportation's Plans Preparation Manuals (PPM), Design Standards, Specifications, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and all local standards. Consul-Tech has designed numerous rehabilitation, restoration and resurfacing projects upgrading the existing signage and pavement markings of roadways to comply with the current Florida Department of Transportation's standards. Uniformity of the markings is an important factor in minimizing confusion and uncertainty about their meaning.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES Consul-Tech's environmental scientists have extensive experience with environmental services for roadways, bridges, water resource projects, pipelines, landfills, park and recreational facilities, site development, and coastal projects. These services range from early planning studies, design, and permitting to long-term monitoring of wetland mitigation projects. We regularly assist our clients in the permit compliance of construction projects to facilitate the completion of projects on time.

PAVEMENT DESIGN Consul-Tech has provided pavement design packages include milling and resurfacing, constructability diagrams to address the asphalt and rigid pavement sections, and new shoulder pavement, as well as a cost benefit analysis of the different alternates to address the cracking.

UTILITY COORDINATION Consul-Tech has provided utility services for public and private clients since 1982. These services include planning, design and coordination efforts both independently and in support of highway design projects. All design efforts adhere to the current Florida Department Environmental of protection and local agency standards.

S.R. 874 KILLIAN PARKWAY - FLORIDA, MIAMI - MIAMI-DADE COUNTY Services Provided: Project includes modification of the Killian Parkway Interchange with an addition of a separate westbound Killian Parkway to S.W. 107th Avenue ramp over State Road 874, widening of the southbound S.R. 874 bridge and ramp to northbound S.W. 107th Avenue, provisions for new northbound and southbound mainline toll plazas and noise abatement walls to include reconstruction and/or widening of the mainline S.R. 874 between north of S.W. 117th Avenue to the south side of the structure over Kendall Drive. The project included roadway, bridges, building structures, toll facilities, intersections, interchanges, geotechnical services, surveys, drainages, signing and pavement markings, signalization, lighting, utility coordination and relocation, landscaping, maintenance of traffic/traffic control, cost estimates, environmental permits, public involvement, noise abatement analysis, specifications and all necessary items for a complete design.
